  Im not normally one to do this, but hopefully it will help out others.
  
  A couple of months ago i decided to go and get my back and knee pain looked at by Stapelton Chiropractic.
  The first session was a overview of how they operate, and a look into the 'best' option to treat your problem. It was decided that i should go and get xrays to make sure it wasnt anything major.
  The next day i had my scans and a follow up appointment the following day.
  During the next appointment we reviewed the xrays and i was told i had significant problems throught my hips, spine and neck. And if left untreated would cause major problems and irreversable damage within the next few years.
  By this stage i was obviously worried and was prepared to spend whatever time and money was needed to get better.
  
  At this point i had spent close to $450 on the two appointments and xrays, but still hadnt had an adjustment...
  During the next session i had my first adjustment. It lasted about 5 minutes, then he pulled out the paper work for my ' 12 week Treatment plan'. The total cost of the next 12 weeks came in at around the $1800 mark.
  The first week i was required to go in 5 times (every day mon-fri)
  For the remaning 11 weeks i was to be seen 3 times a week.
  I was told if i missed a session my treatmemt wouldnt work.
  I was also told for the first 12 weeks i could not do any streching or anything at home to help self manage my care.
  They offered a discount if i paid for these sessions up front of $150.
  I was a bit shocked by this, but was told due to the severity of my problems this was the only option.
  
  After leaving that day, i made an appointment with a Chiro that was highly reccomemded by some close friends.
  I did not mention to him, anything that i had been told by Stapelton chiro, i just wanted to see his opinion.
  I showed the xrays and told him what problems i was having.
  He said that my spine is perfectly healthy and there was nothing to worry about, i then told him that i had just come from a chiro that had told me i was pretty well falling apart, so he got the other chiropractors to have a look at the xrays. They all could not see any major problems. The Radiology report, stated there was no issues with my back.
  
  My problems were coming from a slightly twisted pelvis. After 2 appointments i was feeling great. He showes me exercises and stretches i could do at home to free up my hips/lower back.
  2 months later i am now seeing him once a month and have no issues at all.
  
  Hopefully others dont get caught up in the very expensive 'treatment plans'.
